VOICE STUDIO
Shanelle’s private voice students have been accepted for boarding school programs at the South Carolina Governor’s School for Arts and Humanities and the prestigious Interlochen Academy of Arts. Collegiate bound students have been granted acceptance at Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, the British and Irish Modern Music Institute, and The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (London, UK). Domestically, other studio alumni have been accepted for further study at Brown, Cornell, Gettysburg College, Howard University, Temple University, Winthrop University, Charleston Southern University, and Claflin University. Shanelle’s students have also been accepted to summer vocal programs at Torggler Summer Vocal Institute (Christopher Newport University), Summer Performing Arts with Juilliard, Interlochen, Boston Conservatory at Berklee Vocal/Choral Intensive, and the NYU Classical Voice Intensive. Students local to Charleston, SC have had successful admission auditions for the Charleston County School of the Arts. Ms. Woods has previously been a member of the South Carolina Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing.
